Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Junior Logistics Analyst in Gulfport, MS to join a team providing professional services to NAVSEA 04. Responsibilities include inventory management support, data analysis, and coordination with NSY stakeholders to ensure timely material movement.

The role requires DoD logistics experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills. On-site work five days a week at the client site in Gulfport, MS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of DoD logistics or industrial supply support experience.
• Experience with Navy ERP, MAT, and related supply systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and support data calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support for inventory execution and validation; optimize Navy Working Capital Fund inventory processes.
• Coordinate staging, kitting, and routing of SUBCAL material with Naval Shipyard stakeholders.
• Analyze inventory deficiencies and perform causative research to resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize MAT and MCOS to analyze transactions and prepare performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Production/Supply Departments and NSY Code 500s to verify status and storage needs.
