The successful candidate will manage user accounts, monitor CPU usage, and coordinate with security to uphold compliance for unclassified and classified HPC environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma from an accredited institution.
• At least six years of IT/support experience with government, research, or scientific organizations.
• Experience administering computing systems for large user communities.
• Familiarity with tracking and managing usage metrics such as CPU hours.

Responsibilities

• Support ONR Program Officers overseeing the Navy HPC Program.
• Serve as primary contact for approx. 500 scientists and engineers using Navy HPC systems.
• Establish, manage, and maintain user accounts for HPC access.
• Track and monitor CPU hours across HPC platforms.
• Coordinate with security offices to verify required clearances and credentials.
