Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Jacksonville, FL and San Diego, CA seeks an Associate Project Manager to support the Navy N9 unaccompanied housing and barracks initiatives. You will coordinate planning, reporting, and program execution with Navy leadership and installation personnel to advance housing objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in military housing or related programs, strong writing and analytical skills, and travel about 20% to support on-site engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management and federal program experience.
• Experience supporting unaccompanied housing or barracks planning is preferred.
• US citizenship required for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct program and project support to Navy N9 for housing initiatives, including planning, coordination, reporting and execution.
• Assess barracks and unaccompanied housing assets for condition, utilization, and compliance with standards.
• Facilitate meetings with Navy leadership and stakeholders to advance housing program objectives.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations communicating findings and recommended actions.
• Track schedules, deliverables and budgets across Navy N9 initiatives.
