Job summary

VTG seeks a Business Financial Management Analyst (Associate to Mid-level) to provide specialized financial analysis, accounting, and business services to support CPS Program operations in Washington, D.C. The role is onsite with occasional telework and requires Navy financial systems experience.

You will handle budgeting, obligations, disbursements, and data-driven reporting, liaise with acquisition personnel, and contribute to the annual POM process.

Qualifications

  • Associate level requires: bachelor's degree and 1 year of professional/internship engineering experience, or a master's degree.
  • Mid-level requires: 4-7 years Navy Financials experience; bachelor's with 5 years, or master's with 2 years, or 8 years no degree.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide forensic accounting support and consulting to improve financial management and processes.
  • Track, verify, and report commitments, obligations, costs and disbursements.
  • Develop and manage program budgets and data calls using Program Office data.
  • Prepare briefing materials, issue papers and ad hoc reports.
  • Record and maintain financial transactions in management systems.
  • Support annual Program Objective Management (POM) process and provide strategic options.
