Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Business Financial Management Analyst (Associate to Mid-level) to provide specialized financial analysis, accounting, and business services. The position is based in Washington, DC at the Navy Yard and is onsite with occasional telework.

Responsibilities include forensic accounting, budgeting, data reporting, and building tools for Navy financial systems. Requires DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and relevant Navy financials experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree per level requirements.
• Mid-level requires 4–7 years Navy Financials experience.
• Must have Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Forensic accounting support.
• Consulting services to improve financial management and accounting processes.
• Track, verify, and report commitments, obligations, costs and disbursements.
• Develop draft program budget planning, programming, and execution documentation.
• Prepare briefing materials, issue papers and ad hoc reports using program data.
• Record and maintain financial transactions in appropriate systems.
• Draft funding execution documents and analyze program financial transactions.
• Process cost transactions and review contractor cost reports for reasonableness and accuracy.
• Build program office tools to visualize and integrate data from Navy financial systems.
• Support annual Program Objective Management (POM) process and budget planning.
• Liaise with acquisition personnel to ensure accurate data reporting.
• Support policy and process documentation and configuration control.
