Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking a Business Financial Management Analyst (Associate to Mid-level) to provide specialized financial analysis, accounting, and business services to support CPS Program operations. The role is in Washington, DC at the Navy Yard and is onsite with occasional telework.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, 4–7 years Navy financials experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and an active DOD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate level requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1 year of professional/internship experience, or a master’s degree.
• Mid-level requires 4–7 years Navy financials experience, or a master’s with 2+ years, or 8+ years with no degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Active DOD Secret clearance and US citizenship are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic accounting support and finance process improvements.
• Track, verify, and report obligations, costs and disbursements.
• Develop draft budgeting and execution documents for data calls.
• Prepare briefing materials and ad hoc reports from program data.
• Record financial transactions in Navy systems and support TPS planning.
