Job summary

Artemis Consulting, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support the Department of the Navy and NAVWAR in Washington, D.C. This full-time onsite role is based at the Washington Navy Yard with a 40-hour workweek.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, including Navy ERP data, using Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and other government systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 1–3 years of financial management, accounting, consulting, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may be required for specific projects).
• Experience with government finance, NAVWAR financial systems, or PPBE processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, extract, manipulate, and report financial data from multiple financial systems.
• Process vendor funding actions, including required data entry, execution, and tracking.
• Prepare account reconciliations and financial research to ensure funding accuracy.
• Extract and analyze financial data from government systems, including Navy ERP (N-ERP).
• Compile and present financial information through spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Prepare and analyze monthly execution and performance reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.
• Respond to ad hoc financial reporting and variance analysis requests from clients.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and financial insights to stakeholders.
