Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Patch Manager Field Systems Technologist for Navy ELMR. This on-site, SOFA-based role involves patching operations across Windows, RHEL, and SQL, with reporting to leadership and travel as needed.

You will coordinate with Master Site FSTs and Engineering, ensuring patch delivery and system reliability in a demanding enterprise environment. US citizen required.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT systems administration and TCP/IP network administration.
• Windows (10/Server) and RHEL administration experience.
• Hands-on with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and server hardware.
• Proficient with remote admin tools (PuTTY/WinSCP/Remote Desktop).
• Security+ readiness or equivalent within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Implement system patching per ASTRO Security updates.
• Troubleshoot patching issues in Enterprise environments.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication.
• Assist with maintenance across master and RF sites.
• Travel up to 25% annually for regional patching.
