Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Navigation Systems Engineer to design and implement model-based navigation software. You will analyze navigation performance and work with a team to advance timing technologies, contributing to system-level solutions for defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field with related engineering experience.
• Experience implementing sensor fusion for navigation systems with IMU, GPS and barometers.
• Experience with state-estimation algorithms (EKF/UKF/Particle) and navigation-state determination.

Responsibilities

• Analyze navigation performance in lab and flight test scenarios.
• Communicate status, issues and results with program management and customers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advance navigation and timing technologies.
