Job summary

Draper, a nonprofit R&D organization in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Navigation Analyst to support end-to-end system lifecycle work in GN&C software. You will apply linear covariance analysis and Monte-Carlo simulations to assess performance and validate designs.

The role requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor's in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a Master's or PhD. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Masters/PhD preferred.
• 3–5 years of software engineering or related experience required.
• Familiarity with inertial sensors, navigation, estimation, and system accuracy analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and propose solutions for design trades.
• Design algorithms using modern theory and proven techniques.
• Develop embedded software from prototype algorithms.
• Analyze designs to verify performance and functionality.
