Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Engineer Navigation or Principal Engineer Navigation to support the Common Products - Navigation team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The role covers integration of GPS/IMU hardware, lab testing, and field support.

Responsibilities span development through production and operations, with opportunities to contribute to proposals, verification, and risk analyses. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and 2+ years’ experience or Master’s in STEM with no experience.
• Principal level requires 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years, PhD with no experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate navigation hardware with interfaces and redundancy.
• Conduct investigations, system testing, and flight testing.
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for production and field issues.
• Support proposal development, verification & validation, and risk analysis.
