Job summary

STAHL Companies seeks a Project Support Lead in Washington DC to enhance DoD and Navy acquisition programs, combining engineering with program management to guide design, integration, testing, and evaluation of complex naval systems.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 10 years of DoD acquisition experience and at least 5 years across multiple technical areas; a MS in Engineering is preferred. This is a contract/temporary position contingent on award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 10 years DoD acquisition experience in DoD/Navy program management, technical management, or business management.
• 5 years in two or more broad technical areas including integration, verification, reliability, and test program execution.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support in planning, coordination, and execution of Navy and DoD acquisition programs.
• Contribute technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or materials disciplines.
• Lead or support design integration, verification, and system-level assessments for naval platforms.
• Develop and execute test programs for submarine and surface ship systems at model and full-scale levels.
• Conduct trade studies, life cycle cost analyses, and feasibility assessments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition processes and program standards.
• Coordinate with government and industry stakeholders to support program objectives.
