Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking an APM-E Engineer to provide direct technical and systems engineering support to the Assistant Program Manager - Engineering. The role focuses on integrating Navy afloat and enterprise network modernization efforts, including CANES and ADNS platforms, across Surface, Subsurface, and Shore environments.

The ideal candidate has DoD system engineering experience, strong cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with external PMWs and NAVWAR

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering for DoD or government IT programs.
• Ability to develop and revise system architectures for NAVWAR alignment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical engineering support for the APM E with technical decision authority.
• Lead systems and network integration for modernization and cyber enhancements across Navy networks.
• Represent engineering interests at IPT meetings and act as liaison between teams and PMWs.
• Coordinate development, tracking, and delivery of Engineering Change Requests and Change Requests.
• Perform full lifecycle systems engineering including requirements, tests, and digital engineering models.
