Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to lead post-delivery sustainment programs for naval assets. The role involves managing scope, cost, and schedule, and coordinating with Navy and DoD stakeholders in a high-autonomy, startup-like environment.

You will oversee global sustainment activities, maintain performance metrics, and drive recovery plans for schedule and budget. Suitable candidates have extensive DoD program experience and a strong background in EVM, cost control, and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading Navy/DoD program efforts and complex government relationships.
  • Proven track record with Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contracts.
  • Knowledge of FAR and government compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Proficient in EVM, cost forecasting, scheduling, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sustainment and lifecycle support activities for Navy/DoD assets.
  • Manage scope, cost, schedule, risk, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee global fleet sustainment requirements and KPIs.
  • Develop forecasts, EACs, variance analyses, and management reporting.
  • Coordinate with Navy/Navy program offices and IPTs; report program status.
