Qualifications

• Engineering Technician 2: 2-year degree and 1 year related experience; or HS diploma and 3 years related DoD/USN experience.
• Engineering Technician 3: 2-year degree and 3 years experience; or HS diploma and 5 years related DoD/USN experience.
• Engineering Technician 4: 2-year degree and 6 years related experience or HS diploma and 8 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data such as lab results and design changes.
• Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics).
• Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas and preliminary analyses of data.
• Uses PC in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
• May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
