Job summary

FTI Defense - Frontier Technology Inc. seeks an Advisory Ship Control Systems Analyst to support NAVSEA SE A21/PMS 443, Surface Ship Sustainment. You will provide SME analysis, strategic assessments, and program management for ship control systems affecting Navy surface warships.

The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, with 5–7 years in government-supported work, and advanced MS Office/SharePoint skills. Occasional on-site reporting to the Washington Navy Yard is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree is required; work equivalent of 5 additional years may be considered.
• 5-7 years of experience, including 5 years of government support.
• Proficient with MS Office Tools including Outlook and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of ship/bridge systems, procedures and operations.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain access to NDE, Navy Modernization, PARM funding and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME in planning and execution of Surface Ship Sustainment and Ship Control System Program.
• Analyze financial documents and discern discrepancies.
• Analyze ship availability schedules and interpret milestones.
• Communicate across multiple organizations and teams.
• Apply risk management to schedule, cost, and obsolescence.
• Compile information to present a complete financial view from multiple sources.
• Provide engineering SME and direction for system development and updates.
• Lead a team of engineers and analysts to meet customer requirements.
