Job summary

DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY seeks a RIGGER LEADER to oversee operations at multiple navy sites, including San Diego and Pearl Harbor, with opportunities for CONUS travel. This role requires leadership of a small crew and compliance with federal requirements.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and meet security clearances; relocation may be provided. Relocation/PCS may be authorized, with occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• New DoD employees must pass E-Verify employment verification.

Responsibilities

• You will provide technical trade leadership to a small working group.
• You will ensure necessary materials are available, and tools and equipment are in good, safe operating condition to accomplish work.
• You will recommend specific task assignments for each member of the work crew.
• You will instruct subordinates on unusual work steps or requirements, including safe operation of equipment.
