Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a Program/Project Manager to support NSWCPD Code 20. The role involves budgeting, risk assessment, and ensuring contract compliance for DoD Navy programs.

You will coordinate with customers and vendors, monitor performance, and address inquiries throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 5 years of program management and 3 years of DoD/Navy experience, a bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial field, and a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of professional experience in program/project management including financial management, risk management, scheduling, planning, and oversight of task progress.
• Three (3) years of experience in Department of Defense or U.S. Navy programs or operations.
• Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
• A secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
• Conduct risk assessments and report identified risks to management; provide mitigation recommendations.
• Promptly address performance-related questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Develop assessments of contractor team performance (quality, cost control, schedule, management, and contract compliance).
• Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
