Job summary

Raytheon’s Naval Power Business Unit in McKinney, TX seeks a Financial Analyst to manage quarterly EACs, ETC/EAC projections, and cross-program FP&A activities in a classified, onsite environment.

You will oversee program finances, mentor junior analysts, and ensure compliance with FAR/CAS/GAAP while supporting forecasting and AOP development. The role requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience and understanding of the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
• Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
• Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area; assist and provide guidance and mentoring to junior analyst(s).
• Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support.
• Assist manpower planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
• Provide internal FP&A support for programs/portfolio; assist with forecasting, reporting and adhoc requests. Support AOP/ Long Range Planning development
• Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

The Naval Power Business Unit has an immediate opening for an ambitious finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. What You Will Do

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
