Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a finance professional to drive EAC/LRE deliverables, provide EV insights, and support program leadership with detailed cost reporting. You will own EV analyses, budgeting, and forecasting, collaborating across Program Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting (or related field) with 2+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in EV/EAC and MS Office; U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Understanding of Earned Value (EV) & Estimates at Completion (EAC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of EAC and LRE deliverables with critical financial insight for program leadership.
  • Report Earned Value and perform EV analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Own cost, schedule, and financial reporting activities, including funding analysis, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses to ensure accurate reporting; partner with Program management, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

What You Will Do
  • Drive development of Estimate at Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) deliverables, providing critical financial insight to program leadership.
  • Report Earned Value (EV) & perform detailed EV analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Own cost, schedule, and financial reporting activities, including funding analysis, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare various ad-hoc analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues. Partnering with various functional disciplines (Program management, Engineering, and Supply Chain).
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically, requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of applicable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Understanding of Earned Value (EV) & Estimates at Completion (EAC). Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required, as this role supports programs with access to controlled information. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Good organizational, prioritization, analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP, ForProject, and PMX.
  • Ability to plan tasks, provide results, & recommend solutions to management.
  • Working knowledge of MRP.
  • Experience in detailed program data analysis.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
