Job summary

Tech Wizards in Dahlgren, VA seeks a senior analyst to support operational reach-back for Navy and Joint missions. Provide analytic support for RFIs/RFAs, coordinate reviews with NAVSEA, JHU/APL, and NAWDC, and develop RFI/RFA products for accuracy and relevance.

Will augment reach-back cells for 24/7 surge operations and oversee fleet tasking, readiness, and CASREPs. Role requires extensive experience in military/warfare domains, strong written communication, and a SECRET clearance with TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting operational-level Navy or Joint operations and reach-back.
• Experience producing analytic RFIs/RFAs, including drafting and validation.
• Knowledge of fleet operations monitoring, casualty reporting (CASREPs).
• Familiarity with TACMEMO, OPTASK, JPs, NWPs, NTTP publications.
• Strong analytical writing and clear communication under time pressure.
• Must possess SECRET clearance and TS/SCI eligibility.
• 12 years of military, or relevant DoD warfare experience.
• 5 years aboard Navy cruisers/destroyers or related DoD warfare areas.
• Qualified TAO / AAWC / BWC.
• TAO/BMD watch qualification letter.
• Experience with qualitative/quantitative readiness assessments.
• Post-weapon firing mission analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support for RFIs/RFAs addressing threat assessments.
• Evaluate and coordinate RFI/RFA reviews with NAVSEA, JHU/APL, NAWDC.
• Develop, edit, verify RFI/RFA products for accuracy and relevance.
• Augment reach-back cells to support 24/7 operations on surge requests.
• Review fleet operations schedules, requirements, and readiness levels.
• Provide OR expertise to support SMWDC mission areas (AW, BMD, MIW, SUW).
• Develop doctrine and tactics publications as required (JPs, NWPs, NTTP).
