Job summary

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is actively seeking experienced Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians to support NAVSEA work in Virginia. Location is Virginia and long-term opportunities with competitive hourly pay and per diem are offered.

Responsibilities include MT, PT, and VT inspections on welds in NAVSEA environments, requiring ASNT Level II certificates, background screening, and a valid driver's license. NAVSEA/shipyard experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level II MT, PT & VT certifications required.
• Documented classroom training and OJT hours.
• Ability to pass a stringent background screening and possess a valid driver’s license.
• NAVSEA/shipyard experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) inspections on structural welds per NAVSEA requirements.
• Work effectively in a shipyard/NAVSEA environment, following safety protocols.
