Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a skilled Hardware-Software Integration and Installation Engineer to support Navy and Marine Corps programs. This role involves software and hardware integration, technical support, and lifecycle management of METOC systems. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with cybersecurity requirements. The position is based in San Diego and does not allow remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware/software integration and installation experience in a shipboard environment.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for the lifecycle of METOC systems including design, integration, testing, and maintenance.
• Support Fleet Technical Sustainment Support for end customers.
• Develop and prepare technical documentation for engineering activities.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration

Strong documentation and communication skills

Strong problem solver

Familiarity with DISA STIGs

Experience with software version control systems

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or mathematics

High school diploma with 10+ years of experience
