Job summary

AM Pierce & Associates / Applied Technologies Group, a government-focused engineering firm, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support advanced Navy technology development. You will work with engineers, software developers, analysts, and government stakeholders to translate complex system needs into a coherent design.

The ideal candidate has about five years of relevant experience and a solid grasp of systems engineering, architecture, and model-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance and ability to obtain higher clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering, architecture, or related areas.
• Experience with multidisciplinary engineering or design activities.
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering and SysML.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems-engineering principles throughout technology development.
• Plan and facilitate collaborative design activities with senior engineers.
• Define system context, behavior, interfaces, and requirements.
• Contribute to cross-discipline analyses and decisions.
• Capture design rationale in an integrated system model.
• Develop and maintain SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler.
