Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to support US Navy combat systems and Foreign Military Sales programs. The role covers reliability, maintainability, and life cycle sustainment across multiple technical domains, coordinating with engineering and logistics teams to deliver cost-effective, available, and supportable systems.

You will perform LORA and FMECA analyses, evaluate MTBF/MTTR data, and drive maintenance planning, provisioning, and repair strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, or related) with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering analysis, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintainability analysis, logistics engineering, or life cycle sustainment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary technical environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel occasionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine cost-effective maintenance and repair strategies for Navy systems.
• Perform FMECA to evaluate potential equipment failures and maintenance requirements.
• Analyze reliability and maintainability data (MTBF/MTTR) to support planning and lifecycle cost.
• Evaluate maintenance requirements across organizational, intermediate, and depot levels.
• Apply engineering principles across disciplines to assess system supportability and sustainment.
• Develop maintenance planning, repair recommendations, and provisioning to improve availability.
• Review drawings, documentation, and reliability data to support assessments and product development.
• Collaborate with engineering, provisioning, documentation, and ILS teams to document requirements.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and recommendations for program requirements.
