Day to day:

Our client is looking for a naval shipboard HVAC designer to create and review designs for heating ventilation and ac systems on ships, ensuring compliance with naval regulations and standards.

• Engage in projects from conceptual and detailed design phases through installation and commissioning, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency.
• Design and engineering of the Naval HVAC and refrigeration systems for the design of the lead ship a constellation class (FFG 62)
• Working at a desk and resolving and developing system designs and models using ShipConstructor software

Must haves:

• Demonstrable exp with ship construction software for HVAC designs

Plusses:

• Ship Constructor exp
• Has previously held a clearance
• Has previously worked for a navy or coast guard program
