Job summary

A leading staffing agency in the United States is seeking an Engineer 2 - Outfitting with over 4 years of maritime outfitting experience. The ideal candidate will work directly with team leads and modelers using ShipConstructor and AutoCad to finalize designs for Navy vessels. This is a full-time position with mid-senior level expectations and offers a pay range of $31-38/hr. On-site work is required for the first 3 weeks.

Qualifications

This Outfitting Engineer will require 4+ years of experience in maritime outfitting. They will be utilizing ShipConstructor to check outfitting drawings, communicating with modelers to modify drawings, and solving issues found in drawings within ShipConstructor software. They will mainly be working directly with team lead to finalize models and designs. The outfitting designs will be supporting the design and build of external components of Navy vessels.

The pay for this position ranges between $31-38/hr.

Without degree - 13 years of experience.
4+ years of experience in maritime outfitting doors, hatches, mechanical closures (stern door/mag door), arrangement.
ShipConstructor AND AutoCad software knowledge.
4+ years of outfitting design.
