Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to blend technical skills with strategic thinking in support of the U.S. Navy. You will act as the primary liaison between naval warfare, C4I, and submarine forces, ensuring GCCS-M software development reflects fleet needs and platform constraints.

The role requires extensive naval submarine experience, the ability to travel, and a Secret clearance. A Bachelor's degree is required; experience with GCCS-M, COP/CTP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience aboard a U.S. Navy submarine as an enlisted sailor or officer.
• Experience in submarine combat systems employment, tomahawk strike operations, mission planning, and tactical kill-chain execution.
• Knowledge of Target Motion Analysis (TMA), torpedo employment, tactical data links, and submarine tactical operations.
• Knowledge of submarine forces operational concepts, mission planning, fleet requirements generation, and C2 operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between naval warfare, C4I, and submarine forces to ensure GCCS-M software development reflects fleet needs and platform constraints.
• Bridge gap between fleet operators, acquisition stakeholders, and software developers to support GCCS-M capabilities.
• Provide operational and technical expertise to translate real-world needs into technical specifications throughout the lifecycle.
