Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a manager to lead Planning Yard Services in Norfolk, VA. The role requires coordinating engineering, logistics, and material support for PY Services programs and interfacing with government waterfront representatives and customers.

Responsibilities include program analysis, status reporting, and promoting PY Services capabilities in the Norfolk area, Pascagoula, and other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus 6 years of progressive experience.
• Master's degree with 4 years relevant experience.
• Combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, logistics, and material support for PY Services programs.
• Interface with SEA21 PM Reps, Regional Maintenance Center Reps, TYCOM, and government activities.
• Promote PY Services capabilities in the Norfolk area to customers on the waterfront.
• Represent PY Services in meetings in Norfolk, Pascagoula, and other localities as needed.
• Provide program analysis, status and recommendations to Customer and PY Services management.
• Interface with current and potential partners and government activities for opportunities.
