Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking an Electronic Technician B aboard USNS Howard O. Lorenzen to support the Mobile Sensors program. You will perform operations and maintenance for radar and communications systems on a ship-based platform and participate in extended deployments with a rotating schedule.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, ability to pass maritime medical exams, and an active Secret clearance with a valid U.S. passport (3 blank pages).

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years technical experience in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting at operator level.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Current U.S. Passport with 3 blank pages is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks and preventive maintenance on radar and related systems.
• Calibrate and test radar equipment and communications interfaces.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Update standard operating procedures and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain safe, clean workspaces and comply with regulations.
