Job summary

MANTECH is seeking an experienced Electrical In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Technician for an on-site role at JEB Little Creek Virginia Beach, VA. The position requires working with boat systems, conducting inspections, and supporting upgrades and sustainment efforts.

The ideal candidate has DoD/Navy experience, strong electrical system knowledge, and the ability to read complex drawings and change documents. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of DoD or Navy engineering/maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical systems including navigation, communications, steering, propulsion controls, HVAC, and shore power interfaces.
• Experience reading and validating drawings, schematics, engineering change docs, and system specs.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical or networked systems.
• Experience supporting shipboard installations, integration testing, and operational validation events.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, provide on-call assistance, upgrade and repair boat systems at waterfront locations.
• Conduct boat surveys, inspections, and system validations.
• Maintain configuration control over boats and update technical documentation.
• Capture findings and provide crew familiarization; share information with customers.
• Manage redlined drawings and System Operability Verification Tests (SOVT).
• Recommend process improvements to improve availability and sustainment.
