Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid). The role supports a range of defense-related initiatives, delivering cybersecurity expertise across client programs and naval systems.

The analyst will manage technical processes, documentation, and keep senior leadership informed on project progress, risks, and status. Responsibilities span security requirements, RMF alignment, and DoD cybersecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Business Systems Analysis.
• Possession of one or more certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CEH, SSCP, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new cybersecurity concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate throughout the defense acquisition lifecycle to manage security requirements and build them into design reviews, naval architecture, and technical specifications.
• Support the cybersecurity design, analysis, and risk management programs.
• Analyze program artifacts to ensure DoD RMF standards compliance and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Provide technical analysis of client issuances and learn new cybersecurity concepts and tools.
• Assist with the creation of data dashboards, workflows, and reports in Power BI to enhance operational visibility.
• Lead data calls, data gathering, and develop briefings for senior leadership on progress, risks, and actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including reports, manuals, briefs, and proposals.
