Archer in Washington, DC is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst to join MANTECH in connecting exceptional professionals for this role. The position focuses on on-site cybersecurity analytics and defensive operations to enhance the security posture of maritime critical infrastructure.

The analyst will align reporting with Navy components, develop KPIs/KRIs, and deliver dashboards for executive leadership, improving decision-making and operational efficiency within maritime programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in defensive cyber operations or information systems security.
• Experience performing advanced cyber analytics, casualty and incident response actions, and threat mitigation in high-security government or military environments.
• Experience developing cyber risk metrics, KPIs, KRIs, operational dashboards, and technical reporting for executive leadership and program managers.

Responsibilities

• Embed as liaison within the client to execute on-site cybersecurity analysis and cross-organizational coordination.
• Perform advanced cyber analytics and defensive operations to reduce technical stovepipes and strengthen the security posture of maritime critical infrastructure.
• Define and evolve KPIs, KRIs, and advanced metrics to provide leadership with visibility into portfolio cyber risk postures.
• Develop advanced dashboards and analytical reports that enhance battlespace awareness and streamline workflows for executive decisions.
• Coordinate cyber operational orders and incident response processes with cyber readiness matters to align with Navy planning.
• Align reporting and coordination with Navy cyberspace components to reflect programmatic constraints across maritime programs.
• Collaborate with Digital Ops teams using data-centric analytics to deliver continuous insights and harden system cybersecurity.
