Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform corrosion control and preservation on Naval Vessels in tanks, compartments and hulls.
• Prepare surfaces for preservation.
• Remove old paint and debris from substrates by scraping, chipping, and sanding.
• Apply coatings in accordance with specifications and good marine practice.
• Brush and roll painting to pass all inspection processes.
• Perform Confined Space Attendant duties with safety procedures.
• Work from drawings and technical manuals; follow instructions on assignments.
• Use basic hand tools and machinery for corrosion and coating applications.
• Meet deadlines while multitasking.
