Job summary

NAVAIR in Maryland is seeking a procurement professional responsible for planning and negotiating a range of contracts, including cost-plus-fixed-fee and small competitive contracts, with emphasis on off-the-shelf parts and assembling components. You will perform contract analysis, prepare planning documents, coordinate with DoD customers, and participate in required training.

Travel for training and meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contracting for Naval Aviation Systems - including aircraft, aircraft components, missiles, and associated equipment and services
• Performing analysis of procurement requests
• Performing analysis of proposals
• Work on small and large teams across the Department of Defense and with International customers
