Job summary

Unified Business Technologies, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager/Project Controls professional to support NAVFAC on-site, handling complex DoD projects from $5M to $400M+, coordinating schedules, QA/QC, safety, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities include evaluating change proposals, RFIs, submittals, and progress meetings; maintaining NAVFAC-compliant documentation in eCMS, and ensuring timely closeout and handover.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent DoD construction management experience within the last ten years.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, building construction, construction management, or related field; other BA degrees not acceptable.
• Professional licensure/certification (PE/RA/CCM/PMP) desirable but not required.
• U.S. citizenship proof required.
• Experience with Primavera scheduling and cost-loaded schedules desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost/price review and input on change orders to assist the Contracting Officer.
• Administer technical aspects of contract modifications, including cost estimates and negotiations.
• Schedule, conduct, and document progress meetings with all stakeholders.
• Monitor design/construction clarification process and coordinate RFI responses.
• Coordinate construction operations between contractors, station personnel, and government agencies.
• Review submittals and provide analysis/recommendations to Government Representatives.
• Maintain project documentation in NAVFAC systems (eCMS) and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance.
