Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking an Air Traffic Control Specialist to manage Navy contract VFR tower operations. You will issue clearances, provide ATC services in U.S. Naval airspace, and coordinate with FAA, NRSE, and other agencies.

The role requires ACA1 or DoD/DOT ATC training, a CTO (level 1+), and FAA medical clearance; you will maintain tower readiness, handle weather observations, and manage emergency procedures in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of ACA1 or equivalent DoD/DOT ATC course.
• CTO certification at level 1 or higher preferred.
• Must maintain FAA Class II Medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Issue clearances and provide ATC services within U.S. Naval airspace.
• Coordinate with adjacent ATC facilities and NRSE/NAVREPs as required.
• Maintain tower equipment, test readiness and respond to outages.
• Provide weather observations and assist aircraft during inclement weather.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and notify SAR when needed.
• Ensure pilots are briefed on bird/animal hazards and airfield conditions.
