Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking an Air Traffic Control Specialist to ensure safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of air traffic within U.S. Naval airspace. You will issue clearances, provide ATC services, and coordinate with base and FAA personnel to prevent incidents and minimize delays.

The role requires ACA1 or equivalent DoD/DOT ATC training, three years of experience, and an active CTO or ability to obtain one, plus U.S. Citizenship and DoD security clearance.

Formación

• Knowledge of air traffic control rules, regulations and techniques.
• Ability to operate two-way radio communications, radar systems and related equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with adjacent facilities and agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Issue clearance to aircraft and vehicular traffic on movement areas.
• Provide ATC services for aircraft in U.S. Naval airspace Reservation.
• Maintain tower equipment and record outages.
• Coordinate with adjacent ATC facilities on aircraft movement.
• Coordinate with NRSE, NAVREPs, FAA representatives and base officials.
• Notify SAR agencies of distress and provide emergency assistance.
• Monitor special use airspaces MU P-1002, MU R-1002, MU W-1001.
• Initiate pre-mishap procedures in emergencies.
