Qualifications
Technical Training in US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
Eight (8)+ years of hands-on experience with US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
Recognized expert in US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct both dockside and at-sea tests, analyze collected data, and identify installation issues.
Provide expertise for Navigation system interface issues and assist in documentation.
Travel as a technical representative, conduct field tests, and interpret field data.
Prepare reports on project results from field experiments.
Test, troubleshoot, and operate primary systems and related equipment.
Verify functionality of newly installed equipment and evaluate system performance.
Continuously develop skills with relevant new technology and systems.
Maintain and improve test procedures for efficiency, safety, and quality.
Provide training to lower-level technicians.
Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work.
