Mass Audubon’s Boston Nature Center & Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking a part-time Visitor Services Representative I. The role focuses on greeting visitors, answering inquiries, directing guests, processing program payments, and promoting Mass Audubon membership.

You will manage sales, operate the cash register, and support events, with a commitment to inclusive, welcoming service across diverse guests in the Greater Boston area.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to drive Mass Audubon vehicles.
• Experience with cash handling and basic accounting helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to work part-time including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and inform visitors about the visitor center, sanctuary, trails, programs, and Mass Audubon in general.
• Answer phone calls, monitor voice mail, and provide information, guidance, and direction.
• Assist with the collection of program payments.
• Update visitor signage, brochures, and bulletin case information.
• Understand and promote membership opportunities.
• Use a cash register and credit card machine for sales.
• Monitor radio and be prepared to serve as primary communication point-of-contact in case of emergency.
