Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years in wetlands delineations, stream determinations, environmental permitting, mitigation, and ecological surveys in the southeast U.S.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management with familiarity with safety, quality, metrics, HR policies, and risk management.
• GIS experience and/or knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication with clients, staff, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead natural resources projects from proposals through completion with defined scopes, timelines, budgets, and communication plans.
• Manage permitting and regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Perform environmental fieldwork and analyses including wetlands, streams, wildlife, and ecological surveys as needed.
• Develop staff and coordinate cross-team resources while reinforcing safety, quality, and operational priorities.
• Foster client relationships and pursue opportunities to grow the business.
