Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Natural Resources Project Manager to lead environmental projects in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, directing permitting tasks, regulatory compliance, and client engagement. You will coordinate with plann ers, scientists and engineers within the Earth & Environment Team to deliver impactful results.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in energy/industrial projects, strong proposal and business development experience, and a passion for sustainability and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in project management in energy/industrial sectors with large to small energy projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across complex energy and industrial projects to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Direct and manage natural resources reviews, permitting, and stakeholder engagement for energy/industrial projects.
  • Oversee all permitting aspects, coordinate with agencies, and manage public hearings and community engagement.
  • Foster relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to growth through business development and client relationship management.
  • Monitor market trends and advise on project strategy within Gulf South energy landscape.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients and government officials.
  • Ensure thorough project documentation and reporting across all lifecycle phases.
