WSP USA is seeking a Natural Resources Project Manager to support Oklahoma City, OK and Tulsa, OK with our Earth & Environment Team. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams on energy and industrial projects, manage permitting processes, and engage with regulators and stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-impact results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in project management for energy/industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with Gulf South regulatory structures, permitting pathways, and regional infrastructure challenges.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and build consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience growing client portfolios and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across complex energy and industrial projects, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Direct and manage natural resources reviews, avoidance planning, and client deliverables.
  • Oversee all aspects of project permitting with agencies and public meetings.
  • Foster regulatory engagement and provide strategic advice on state filing requirements.
  • Lead business development initiatives and maintain client relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and advise on project strategy and opportunities.
  • Serve as primary contact for stakeholders including clients, officials, landowners, and the public.
  • Ensure thorough project documentation and transparent reporting.
