Job summary

Terracon seeks a Practice Leader for the Natural Resources Team in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on growth strategy, client development, and technical oversight for wetlands, NEPA, T&E, and related environmental services.

The successful candidate will lead a multi‑disciplinary team, build on the existing client base, and expand Terracon’s presence across North Florida with a long‑term growth plan and strong safety/compliance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline including Engineering, Environmental Science, or Biology, Ecology.
• Minimum of 10 years’ related experience in natural resources consulting.
• Ability to travel overnight within Florida and occasional meetings elsewhere in the U.S.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Terracon’s Natural Resources Services in Jacksonville and North Florida.
• Develop and execute annual business plans for the specialty service group.
• Lead client development activities and expand the existing book of business.
• Collaborate with cross‑office managers and Terracon staff across the region.
• Promote safety, quality, and risk management in all projects.
