Job summary

Responsibilities include developing profitable contracts, performing economic analyses, and building relationships with producers and customers to drive strategic growth across Texas markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in gas supply, gas purchase, gathering systems, gas transportation, gas storage, gas accounting, and/or gas sales.
• Texas market experience preferred, with focus on West Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast.
• Contract negotiation, contract analysis, economic analysis, research, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate existing contracts to determine profitability and potential liabilities.
• Identify gas supply and/or equity gas sales opportunities to support strategic business plans.
• Lead negotiations with potential customers or service providers for new transactions.
• Develop relationships with accounts and maintain effective customer relations.
• Participate in development of large scale projects to support business strategies.
• Prepare economic models and analyses for wells, equity gas sales, and growth projects.
• Coordinate with producers, marketers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information.
