Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Natural Gas Project Manager to lead the ICE team in Michigan, overseeing gas distribution design and project execution. The ideal candidate has a Civil/Environmental engineering background and at least five years in natural gas infrastructure, with Autodesk Civil 3D experience.

The role offers a flexible hybrid-remote schedule after 30 days and opportunities to expand client relationships, manage budgets, and drive successful project delivery in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental (or related engineering field) is required.
• 5+ years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems.
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing.
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage resources to deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Provide design/technical expertise to project and coordinate with technical leads.
• Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Maintain lasting client relationships.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings.
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

• 5 or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required
• Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
• Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
• Compression station design experience is a plus
• Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
