Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Natural Gas Project Manager to join our ICE team in Michigan to improve infrastructure. A bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering and 5+ years in natural gas design are required; Autodesk Civil 3D experience is required, with CadWorx/Plant 3D a plus.

A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days. The role oversees design teams, proposal development, and project execution, while maintaining client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design.
• Experience with regulator station design, high pressure steel, and compression.
• Knowledge of government regulations applicable to natural gas.
• Autodesk Civil 3D experience required; CadWorx/Plant 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems.
• Develop project proposals including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing.
• Manage project execution including scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate resources to deliver projects on time and under budget with client satisfaction.
• Provide design/technical expertise and coordinate with technical leads.
• Coordinate the design function with project team members.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Maintain lasting client relationships.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Lead project review (QA/QC) meetings.
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

• Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
• Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
• Compression station design experience is a plus
• Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
