Job summary

Wade Trim seeks a Natural Gas Project Manager to join the ICE team in Michigan to enhance gas distribution infrastructure. Requires a bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental engineering and 5+ years in gas distribution design, regulator stations, and related fields. Autodesk Civil 3D experience is essential.

A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days of employment, with responsibilities spanning design leadership, proposal development, and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environment or related engineering field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design and related infrastructure.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D experience is a plus.
• Compression station design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems.
• Develop project proposals including positioning, approach, and pricing.
• Manage project execution including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.
• Provide design/technical expertise and coordinate with technical leads.
• Coordinate design activities with project team members.
• Ensure staff have tools to complete tasks.
• Maintain lasting client relationships.
• Generate additional sales through business development.
• Lead QA/QC project reviews and meetings.
• Support client meetings and project presentations.
• Estimate fees and review plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental (or a related engineering field) and five or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required. Must have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.

• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
• Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget whilemeeting or exceeding client expectations
• Provide design/technical expertise to project and/or coordinate as necessary with technical leads
• Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
• Maintain lasting client relationships
• Generate additional sales through business development activities
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations
• Attend client, staff and project meetings
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specification

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environment (or related engineering field) is required

Skills/Experience

• 5 or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required
• Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
• Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
• Compression station design experience is a plus
• Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
