Job summary

DEFTEC seeks a Contractor Support for Military Partnerships to advance NATO partnership capability development, interoperability, and modernization. The role coordinates with HQ SACT, ACO/SHAPE, and Partner Nations to align capability plans with allied priorities.

The incumbent analyzes Partner requirements, supports decision-making products, and helps implement DOTMLPFI-informed strategies, while traveling up to 30 days annually.

Qualifications

• Active NATO Secret Security Clearance required.
• Postgraduate degree in international relations, security studies, or related field (or NATO/national staff college equivalent).
• Experience in foreign/international security or defense affairs.
• Familiarity with NATO Enterprise and partner cooperation.
• Experience drafting for and briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HQ SACT and Partner Nations to support NATO partnership objectives.
• Develop briefings, point papers, and reports for senior officers and external engagements.
• Support policy development and implementation related to NATO partnerships.
• Track ACT activities, programs, exercises, and engagements for Partners.
• Travel up to 30 days per year for meetings and events.
