Job summary

DEFTEC is seeking a Contractor Support for Military Partnerships to advance NATO partnerships, capability development, and interoperability. The role interfaces with HQ SACT, ACO/SHAPE, NATO HQ, and partner nations, providing analysis, briefings, and planning support for senior leaders.

You will contribute to policy development, coordinate events, and help manage program initiatives within ACT, NDPP, PARP, and ITPP.

Qualifications

• Active NATO Secret Security Clearance or equivalent.
• Postgraduate degree in international relations, security studies, or related discipline.
• Experience in international security, defense affairs, or NATO-related work.
• Experience briefing senior leaders/decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate partnerships-related work across NATO and partner organizations.
• Develop briefings, point papers, and reports for senior officers.
• Support planning, review, and implementation of NATO partnerships and defense planning processes.
• Identify capability gaps and alignment with NDPP and PARP initiatives.
• Travel up to 30 days per year for meetings and engagements.
• Maintain information management and corporate knowledge for the Partnerships Branch.

Skills

NATO Secret Security Clearance

Master's degree or higher in Intl Rel/

Experience in foreign/international/"

NATO Enterprise experience (preferred)

Drafting/briefing senior leaders

Security planning and defense capacity

Education

Master's degree or higher in international relations or related field

NATO staff college (OF-3 level or higher)
